What do you think of when you think of Sweetish Hill Bakery? Flaky breakfast pastry, cinnamon rolls, fruit Danish. Crusty ciabatta and baguette, nutty whole wheat breads made into sandwiches using Boar's Head hams and cheeses, farm fresh produce purchased from area farms where possible. Now you have the beginning of a plan to feed your breakfast or lunch companions at the office or at your home and Away from the Hill can get it ready and package it for convenient pick-up or, for delivery.

In addition to all the products you see on our everyday menu we have a list of appetizers and platters for those afternoon or evening events that require a special touch. Mini chicken, beef or vegetarian empanadas, sirloin trays, roast vegetables are just a few of the specialties we offer to make your reception stand out.

We will include our in-store paper products on request (paper plates, napkins, coffee cups, and plastic flatware). And if you have an order of $60 or more we will arrange a delivery through a courier service for their minimum charge of $16 for the central area.

If you are feeding a group and need some help planning the quantities and perhaps a delivery, call Monday through Friday, 7:00a.m.-3:00p.m.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Your call will take very little time if you read the menu first and have your questions ready. We will need to know name, time of pick-up (and delivery address if applicable), method of payment and your menu choices and whether or not you need paper products included. We can advise you on quantities and make additional suggestions.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED?
For most lunch orders you could call as late as 9:30 the same day for a noon pick-up, but of course if you are serving a large number it would be a good idea to give us an extra day's notice to be sure we have in stock everything you need. For breakfast, orders for need to be placed by 3p.m. the day before.

WHAT ABOUT BEVERAGES?
We have all our in-store juices, sodas, coffees and teas (hot and iced) available in disposable containers. And the price listed on our AWAY menu includes bags of ice and paper cups. If you need a quantity of Good Flow juice, we will need 48 hours notice on your order.

Sweetish Hill has been serving the Austin community for 30 years. We have established ourselves as a premiere bakery and cafe, using only the best ingredients which include local Texas butter, farm eggs, produce from area farms, wheat from a farmer's co-op in Kansas, organic sausage, and Swiss chocolate. We use no trans fats in any products. We assemble your order just hours before you pick it up and we guarantee freshness. We pride ourselves on our customer service and complaints, though rare, will be addressed promptly.
