How healthy is Caraway cookware?

Caraway products are made without any toxic materials like PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, or other hard-to-pronounce chemicals. This eco-friendly cookware brand uses a mineral-based coating that won’t leach toxic materials into consumer’s food.
Can you put Caraway in the oven?
Caraway Bakeware can easily handle roasting temperatures up to 550ºF. The Bakeware can also withstand freezing temperatures, though we do not recommend going directly from a hot oven to a cold freezer until the pans cool down. We do not recommend using Caraway Bakeware under an oven’s broil setting.
What coating does Caraway use?
Caraway Cookware is made with an aluminum core and ceramic coating on the inside and outside of the pan. The pans are covered in a nontoxic, nonstick coating that is teflon, PTFE and PFOA free. All of their pans also have a stainless steel plate at the bottom which is what makes the pans induction compatible.

Can you use olive oil on Caraway pans?
It’s advised to avoid using virgin olive oil as it can’t withstand high heat. Note that olive oil can leave a thin carbonized layer on your non-stick pans. This residue build-up or layer can be difficult to scrub off, which can damage the pan. Instead of olive oil, you can use peanut, sunflower, or coconut oils.
Can you boil water in Caraway pans?
Sauce Pans are excellent for anything involving boiling, steaming, stewing, simmering, and deep-frying. We’ll start with the basics: boiling water.
Do Caraway pan handles get hot?
The handles definitely can get warm to the touch, especially the closer you get to the pan, so be sure to have oven mitts on hand when moving things from the stovetop to the oven, off the burner, etc.
