How do you use the GPS on Wahoo bolts?
Sync Routes
- Press PAGE on the ELEMNT/BOLT/ROAM until the map page is displayed (shown below)
- Press ROUTE while on the map page to choose a route.
- Press SYNC to begin downloading your routes to the ELEMNT/BOLT/ROAM.
- Once synced, simply select a route to start navigation with Turn by Turn directions (cues required)
Start by navigating to Settings and scrolling to the Live Track & Maps section to ensure Live Track is on. Once Live Track is enabled, you’ll need to share the link for others to see your route and location. Select Share Live Track Link below the Live Track toggle, then choose the duration others can view your ride.

How do you live track?
Just pair your compatible Garmin device with the free Garmin Connect Mobile app and enable LiveTrack for your timed activity. When you select AutoStart, all future timed activities on that device will automatically start a LiveTrack session. Invite your friends and family via email, Facebook or Twitter.
Can Wahoo sync without WIFI?
Sure. While the unit can’t connect to the outside world without WIFI, it can still communicate with the phone via Bluetooth and said phone probably has internet conenction to fetch and sync data from adn to the device.

- Turn on your ROAM and open the ELEMNT app.
- In the ELEMNT app, navigate to the History screen and scroll to the ride in question.
- Press and hold the ride until options pop up. Select “Delete & Resync”
Can you recover a deleted ride on Strava?
With the Strava mobile app, as long as the activity was successfully saved and synced to Strava previously, our Support Team can manually restore the deleted activity to your account. Unfortunately, if a Strava app recording is discarded before it is saved, then the data cannot be recovered.
What can the Wahoo Bolt do?
The Elemnt Bolt also supports on-device navigation (which I’ll explain in more detail a little further below), as well as Strava live segments, the ability to pull in routes, segments and workouts from various third-party apps, and upload rides to Strava, TrainingPeaks and Today’s Plan.
