Cover crop radishes may have taproots that can reach over 20 inches deep depending on the variety, with enlarged root portions 3 or 4 inches in diameter. Cover crop radish varieties may be helpful in home garden plots with shallow topsoil and hard subsoil.
Can you grow daikon in pots?
